Derani Yachts recently had the pleasure of sea-trialing both the Axopar 37 Cross Cabin and Axopar 37 Sun Top off Thailand’s west coast. Both the Cross Cabin and Sun Top are ideal luxury day boats for all your tropical adventures, but which Axopar is right for you?
The Axopar 37 Cross Cabin, sporting the vibrant and playful Miami Blue hull – part of the BRABUS Line Trim Package – provides comfort & protection with an enclosed air-conditioned cabin with seating for six, yet when the large sliding canvas roof and side doors open, the cabin transforms, opening-up to the environment all around. Never before has an all-weather boat looked this striking.
The Platinium Grey Axopar 37 Sun Top provides the perfect combination of open and enclosed boating. The full-length roof offers the best shade and weather protection possible without compromising on the space and versatility of the walkaround sides and aft-deck area.
Both of the Cross Cabin and Sun-Top provide the shade and weather protection necessary for comfortable boating in tropical climates and have more than enough versatility for enjoying all day long hospitality.
Axopar – the perfect platform to start your next adventure at sea
The award winning Axopar range of boats are available in 22, 28 and 37 foot models and a variety of configurations which are ideally suited to the boating environment in Asia.
Axopar announced their entry-level boat – the 22 Spyder – in July of this year and we’re expecting the official launch at the Boot Düsseldorf show in January 2021.
With a price tag in the region of just €49,000 ‘turn-key ready’ at the factory and inclusive of a Mercury F115hp outboard and 19% VAT, the forthcoming Axopar 22 will continue this market-leading, favourable trend.
A partnership between Axopar and Jobe Watersports has produced two unique versions of the all new Axopar – the Axopar x Jobe Revolve (above) – with its white hull and Jobe graphics package, featuring neon green detailing and further complemented by interior detailing in turquoise – and for the ultimate Jobe experience, the Axopar x Jobe Revolve XXII (below) – with a custom-made hand painted special turquoise colour throughout the whole boat, accompanied by an extended full-size ‘Revolve’ hull-wrap graphics.
Offering first-in-class handling, seaworthiness and safety, combined with the efficiency and comfort that its bigger 28ft and 37ft siblings are renowned for. A smart boat that packs a punch and will turn heads wherever you go, and all without breaking the bank!
Axopar 22 Spyder is capable of commuting comfortably in changeable conditions and remains predictable and logical in its behaviour, no matter what weather conditions are thrown at it.
Axopar 28 Cabin – featuring a spacious, bright and comfortable cabin with wide sliding doors and a large sliding canvas roof.
This highly adaptable model has ample space for fishing and other activities on the aft deck and a large social area on the foredeck that can be quickly and easily converted into a sun bed or a seating and dining area.
The foredeck also incorporates a stowage space with optional toilet and sink in front of the helm. Whether for cruising, fishing or just unwinding with friends and family you’ll love the Axopar 28 Cabin.
The new full width Glass Helm Information Display avoids the need for fragmented instrumentation and randomly located switch gear, by replacing this with a clean and modern looking bespoke graphic user-interface screen.
The Axopar 28 Cabin has just been nominated for Boating’s “Boat of the Year Award” 2020 – the most prestigious award in recreational boating.
First introduced in 2014, the multi award winning Axopar range revolutionised the market for outboard-engine day-boats, sports-weekenders and cabin boats.
In 2020 Axopar released their successor – the all new range of Axopar 37’s featuring an entirely new hull and a host of previously unseen innovations and unique, technical ‘firsts’.
The first of the new breed of Axopar 37’s recently arrived in Asia and Derani Yacht’s took the 37 Sun Top “No Rules” for her sea trials to the world famous Phi Phi Islands (a.k.a. The Beach).
The driving experience is more responsive, safe, thrilling and sporty driving, fine-tuned directional stability, fantastic grip during cornering, safer handling, higher cruising speed and lower fuel-consumption. A stronger and stiffer hull with hydro-dynamics that provide an extremely compliant, comfortable and quiet ride.
Significant all-round speed, fuel-efficiency and range gains. Up to 30% better fuel-economy across the 20 to 40 knot speed range. Compared to the predecessors, resulting in an extended cruising range, on average with 35% or +75 additional nautical miles.
The driver focused ergonomic helm with its clean and uncluttered dashboard, ensures the skipper will always remain confident and in control when handling the boat, even single-handed.
Redefined ergonomics contribute to a supremely practical and functional layout, with both forward and all-round visibility improved, whether standing or seated in our newly designed, extra-grippy seats.
Significantly enlarged front cabin with 30% more space than its predecessor, now with the option of a fully enclosed toilet compartment.
More spacious, light and accommodating than ever before. The possibility to choose a new option; enclosed toilet and separate shower compartment for privacy and a new level of comfort and convenience.
The 37 Sun Top has proved to be the perfect choice, easily justifying its position as a true game-changer and is the perfect platform for every adventure at sea.
Gearing up for sea trials of the Axopar Revolution’s, Spyder, SunTop and XC model, all of which will be premiered at the Dusseldorf Boat Show 18-26th January 2020.
A warm November day, 3 degrees centigrade and 60 knots plus sea trials!
The Revolutions is an entirely new Axopar 37, every single component has been modified and optimized, Gull wing doors, outstanding fuel economy, 30% improvement on previous model, a must have boat.
