The Targa 48 OPEN and the Squadron 48 also joins the line-up. Fairline has developed this new trio with careful attention to global customer feedback and as a result, an array of options is available to ensure each model is perfectly suited to different markets.
The Targa 48 Gran Turismo is described as a sun-appreciating sports cruiser with new technologies and exceptional engineering. The dynamic new hull, for instance, has been specifically designed to compliment the Volvo Penta IPS engines, resulting in even more precise handling, along with impeccable sea keeping. The hull features a beautifully spacious flybridge and newly styled interior. The hardtop comes with panelled glazing as standard. The electric glazed retractable roof feature of the boat, offering an ‘open, even when closed’ feel and giving owners the chance to enjoy fresh air and sunshine at the touch of a button, whether at rest or underway.
With intelligent space-saving innovations engineered throughout the boat, the Targa 48GT provides sociable spaces with clever design touches. Its upper deck offers plentiful seating, in addition to a well-appointed helm station with twin seats. The cockpit features a J-shaped seating area with a table, and can offer the option of a sunbed conversion. The lower deck has three cabins as standard and there is an optional lower saloon/dinette in lieu of the third cabin layout. Perfectly formed, perfectly thought-through. Everything you come to expect from a Fairline.
At the PSP Southampton Boat Show the Fairline stand will feature an elegant hospitality area, where visitors can relax with a drink and enjoy the atmosphere of the show.
Stuart McCullough, Commercial Director at Fairline Boats, commented: “We are looking forward to showcasing the Targa 48GT at this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show for the first time. This model attracted a great deal of interest at the London Boat Show earlier this year when it launched to the world. We look forward to welcoming many Fairline owners and prospective customers on board all of our boats to enjoy the best of British at this year’s show.”
