In 2004, Derani Yachts became the first Suzuki Marine dealer in Thailand. Our dedicated Sales & Service Center, managed by a professional service engineer who spent over 20 years with Suzuki in Germany, has maintained an outstanding track record over the years.

Managing Director: Håkan Lange
A Swedish national with extensive pleasure boating experience, Hakan spent 15 years in the merchant navy and holds a Master Mariner’s ticket. Having lived in Asia for the past 21 years, his knowledge of the industry and the region is second to none. “It is a true pleasure to go to work every day,” he says, “to enjoy dealing with boats and meet interesting people. I consider myself to be very fortunate.”
Sales Manager : Mark Copeland
Mark is the latest edition to the Derani team, coming to us with a life long experience of boats, born by the sea, Mark has grown in and around all kinds of boating industries from Scuba Diving to working on some of the worlds acclaimed Super Yachts all around the Caribbean & Mediterranean. Mark is extremely well traveled and has an engineering back ground. He also heads up our web development and internet marketing strategies, so he makes a great new addition to the team.
Chief Service Engineer: Markus Hamann
Markus became part of the Derani Yachts team shortly after we opened our Phuket office. He is primarily responsible for servicing and repairing Suzuki outboard engines at our fully resourced workshop in the Phuket Boat Lagoon. His extensive experience and skill set has enabled Derani Yachts to become a leading Suzuki Marine dealer throughout Thailand. Markus also plays an important role when commissioning and providing after sales service for the range of boats we offer.
Service Engineer : Somkid (Kid ) Sanitprem
Kid has developed a first class reputation among our customers. His positive attitude and attention-to-detail bring positive feedback on a regular basis. He and his energetic team will take care of the day-to-day maintenance of your boat. A marine engineer by training, his past experience includes being an engineer on a Malaysian customer’s powerboat (featuring 3,600-hp of main engines) and managing a 44 -foot game fishing charter boat in Phuket. He has been part of our team since 1999.
Office Manager : Kamontip (Pern) Kuiyong
Pern is known as the Iron Lady and manages general administration, accounting, insurance (QBE), spares and outboard engines sales support. She has worked with major marina operations and yacht brokerage companies in Phuket since 1998. For the past 4 years, she has been the first face you see when visiting the Derani Yachts office, always smiling and coolly competent.
